It’s very simple. Perro Air was the only outfit that would fly (in cabin) myself & my Cane Corso 120 pound Mastiff from Fort Lauderdale to Costa Rica. The Perro Air family Sarah & Chuck, &Crew helped me out every step of the way and would check in a few months before the arranged flight often. The flight itself was on time, excellent & quick. Easy to negotiate from start to finish. Upon arrival in costa Rica, we were moved to the front of the line for passport control. I can’t recommend this group highly enough .Mission accomplished. 5 Stars! Perro Air fans for life Dave &Cresta Ridgeway
Fantastic experience from start to finish!
We moved our golden retriever and black lab from Costa Rica back to the US using Perro Air. Sarah and Chuck were super helpful, responsive and informative throughout the entire process. I was flying alone and wondering how I was going to be able to navigate through an airport with my bags and 2 big dogs but there was someone to help from the minute I go to the airport in Liberia to when I got into my rental car in Fort Lauderdale. I can’t recommend this service enough. Thank you to everyone who made it such a smooth and stress free experience!
Best possible dog experience
Everything was so amazing with Perro Air starting with the airport in LIR. Everyone pampered me incredibly because of being old with a bad back and having one of my two dogs both blind and old. From Chris to Alejandra and Brandon I couldn’t have asked for more. The flight was great and the help on the other end was awesome as well. It was a special treat to see Chuck and Sarah at the end of the journey! Thank each and every one of you !
Perro air was a dream experience. Sarah and Chuck have made every step of the way before departure and after arrival utterly SEAMLESS. truly truly in such a stressful time trying to transport my Great Dane to another country- they helped arrange my hotel and worked out something special so that way they didn’t discriminate against his size. They made sure he was well taken care of and comfortable on the flight. Just the friendliest experience! I can’t wait until they start flying out of LA, hopefully soon so we can go back and forth. I highly recommend perro air 11/10 experience!
Stress-free travels We can honestly say our experience (from beginning to end) with Perro Air was exceptional. When we first contacted Chuck and Sarah regarding flights to Liberia Costa Rica with our two dogs we felt we had developed a friendship from the start. The process was made clear as to what we needed to do to ready ourselves and dogs for travel and entry into Costa Rica. Shortly after we landed in Costa Rica, we were met by airport grounds workers that made us feel like VIPs. Our transition through customs (humans and dogs) went smooth. Prior to leaving the terminal Chris met us promptly to ensure all our needs were met and to ensure we boarded our transport with all our luggage. We really appreciate Perro Air’s genuine concerns and commitment that made our dreams come true. Pura Vida!!
Best Trip Ever With My Dogs Well for starters the whole trip was wonderful. From the very first email and phone calls with Sarah. I was very well taken care of from the start. My two chocolate labs drove from Montana to Florida to make this happen. Sarah was so helpful on helping from travel information to hotel reservations. Sarah picked us at our hotel and drove us to the airport where we met Chuck and their daughter. They could not of been any nicer. The whole thing was so smooth. As for the flight it was great!! beverages and fresh fish sandwiches were provided and the the flight was very smooth.
when we arrived in Liberia Costa Rica we were so taken care from getting off of the plane all the way through customs and were treated by Perro Air employee that made sure everything for us was taken care of. I can not say enough how great the whole experience was I would recommend Perro Air to anyone traveling with their pets. I have already gave the Perro Air information out to many of people here in Potrero Costa Rica . Thank you so very much Sarah and Chuck for starting this wonderful business for traveling with pets you are so wonderful.
Truly a Godsend I’d been wanting to move to Latin America for the longest time but didn’t want to put my dog in the cargo hold.
Just as I was looking to charter a flight, I came across Perro Air. The Perro Air team answered all my questions and was great to work with. I’m incredibly grateful for my correspondence with Chuck and so glad I got to meet Sarah on the day of the flight.
I don’t plan on doing a ton of flights, but Perro Air will be my first choice if I ever need them again.
Choose Perro Air Perro Air helped us in so many other ways besides the flight. They were very communicative all along, helped us find a vet, and assisted greatly in figuring out the international health certificate (we came from Canada to the US for the flight). They also provided helpful links to pet-friendly hotels for our journey down. My husband flew with our dogs, and the whole process was smooth for him and the fur babies. Sarah is an amazing human being.
Easy Pet Travel With the very limited options of getting pets to Costa Rica, Perro Air simplified the process for getting myself and 2 large dogs from Ft. Lauderdale to Liberia, CR. Sarah was very responsive and made it a very smooth and stress-free process. Highly recommended.

My experience with Perro Air was excellent from start to finish. Chuck was attentive and responded quickly to all of my inquiries. The entire process of flying myself and my two dogs to Costa Rica was seemless thanks to Perro Air. I knew exactly what I needed in order to get them into the country because all of the link forms I needed were clearly listed on their website.
There was really no difficulty in the entire process, and I found the financial investment to be reasonable.
Chuck and Sarah are so kind and made the experience a positive one for the three of us.
The flight facility was easy to get to and was a beautiful space to relax before our flight.
Pilots for the flight were friendly and attentive as well.
We had a quick and smooth flight to LIR and I couldn’t have asked for it to go any better.

I researched for months ways to get my family to my retirement spot in Costa Rica from Vegas. There was several options. Private and commercial. I made one of my dogs a service dog. Then I found out you could only bring one service dog. And because of there size I need extra seats and still only a few places they could fit. Then I check a private flight in Texas. They had no dates or schedules and cost was astronomical. Finally I checked Perro Air – Charter Air Travel for Pets & People. Only problem? I’m in Vegas. They had scheduled flights every month. NOW how do I get to Florida. My daughter Amber Heredia and her husband said they would take me and fly home. We figured it out and made a little mini vacation out of it. Went by my Dads on the way. Perro made everything so easy. Was in CR in less than 3 hours in the air. My dogs were super comfortable. They even let me know in advance that I could take extra baggage. Customs was a breeze. Thanks again Perro Air. My dogs are in heaven! And they love it! Even more than I do!
Perro Air exceeded my expectations during our move from Florida to Costa Rica. Chuck Holcomb, who managed our maiden flight, provided exceptional assistance, especially considering I had injured myself right before the journey. Chuck ensured a seamless experience, handling everything from airport to customs. My dogs, Maggie and Zoey, were treated with utmost care. I can’t thank Chuck and Sarah enough for their outstanding service. Perro Air deserves a solid 5-star rating, and I highly recommend them to anyone traveling with pets between Florida and Costa Rica.

Everything was smooth and easy transporting our pets from Florida to Costa Rica. Sarah from Perro was especially pleasant and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Perro Air if you have the means!
Best experience traveling with my rescue from Liberia Costa Rica to FL. This is an experience like no other! I am so grateful to have been able to rescue a dog and bring him home without having to deal with cargo. Sarah and Chuck are wonderful humans.

Perro Air has been arranging Pet & Human travel on small jet charters since last September. We flew with them in October AND again in December AND again in April AND again in May.
They have probably flown 20 or more flight operations since they started.
The majority of flights…..whether it’s on Delta, American, United, OR Perro go without a hitch. Sometimes there’s a “hiccup”….. AND it’s not the “hiccup”, it’s how you respond to it. There was a little “hiccup” on the flight returning from Liberia to
Fort Lauderdale this month….BUT where I believe Perro Air sets themselves apart and outshines them all is how they responded…..with Professionalism, with Perseverance, with excellent Communication, with Grace, AND more importantly with a Solution. AND, BY THE WAY…..they even stocked the bar with complimentary Champagne….. which they normally would not do….. just a kind gesture that speaks volumes about the family that you’ve become a part of …..when you sign on with Perro!

Perro Air made me feel confident & relaxed that my dog & I were on a safe and quick flight to Costa Rica. All people involved were friendly and encouraging about traveling with my dog. I was picked up from my rental car drop off, given a gift tote bag of treats for me & my dog, and made to feel comfortable about the flight. They love & care about dogs & traveling safely. I plan to fly with Perro Air again.
